Default Yamaha mechanic - Tampa area?

Need a recommendation for a Yamaha mechanic. 25 hp 4 stroke hard to start then cuts out or won't start. Probably carb. Figure on having water pump replaced while I'm at it. New to Tampa area so need some help. Thanks

Don't know anyone in that area & don't have anyone to recommend in this area.

I just recently got through some issues & fixed it myself. Called & visited in person 2 different mechanics in this area, said they would call when they
got caught up, haven't heard back from either 1 and that was back in Late August/early Sept. Business must be good when you don't even have to
respond to customers. Hope you have better luck than I did !!

Talon Marine is a very good/honest Yamaha mechanic 407-542-7600, but he's located here in Central/East Florida, might give him a call.... he might be able to recommend someone in your area.

Thanks guys. After posting I decided to pull the carb, disassemble, clean, blow it out. Reinstalled and she fired. Little rough on acceleration but hopefully it'll clear out.
    Thanks

Bullfrog Creek Marine helped me. Reasonable, kept me informed and fixed the problem. I did have to wait. Called them and was put on waiting list. They did call me when they wanted me to bring it in. Very good reviews.

It started with a leaky carb, then found a stuck thermostat and a seal leaking around the top of the fuel vapor separator.
Was told by a Johnson tech that it was a VRO issue but haven't had the same issue happen since I fixed the above.
