    Default Lake Harris

Don't recall ever seeing to much on her regarding Lake Harris except a few mentions of night fishing the bridge. Don't anyone fish that part of the chain?

What is that weed that grows in/under water????
HYDRILLA just about every where. About the only way to go anywhere is on full plane to try and stay above it.
Little Lake Harris and Big Lake Harris.
Talked to the owner of Lake Side Bait & Tackle store today, She indicated that the blue gills and shell crackers are starting to become very active and with the full moon coming up, they should be in the reeds and pads spawning.

Haven't done well in Harris the last two years because of the hydrilla and the killing of the (cattails, reeds, cane) whatever you want to call them. Went one day last week the wind blew me into the pads and hydrilla and had a fit getting boat turned, ZERO bites and was home at 9am.--shu

Can't put the boat in to float, because of the hydrilla, I understand that they have started the spraying of this hydro weed.
The story is that it is/was so thick that they could not spray from a boat, so had to approach it from a helicopter. I have never seen it so bad.
Most people do not understand that when you motor thru the clumps of hydrilla, you do not cut it up and destroy it, BUT you cut it up and causes to to grow and spread.
