New member here from Minnesota that just got a little fishing rig registered in FL. My in-laws are in DeLand and my maiden voyage was trying Dias for a couple hours. Got a healthy 13” fish on a minnow in 14 fow about 7 feet under a float within 10 minutes. Had to drift fish as I didn’t have time to charge my trolling battery and didn’t have any more luck before the heat chased me off. I’ll need to learn some of the FL techniques as I’m used to single pole regulation of Minnesota.
