    Default In between the rain

Been itchin to Go! Was a beautiful sunny morning, started fishing at about 7:30am . Water temps was 78, calm conditions, fish were scattered, caught 15 brought home 10. Most were 11 inchers with a couple other nice ones. Curl tail jigs and off the water at 10:30.

Nice fish. Glad to see some crappie anglers in Florida don't put up their poles for the summer. We missed our trip this week because of rain. I don't mind rain just don't like lighting. My fishing buddy doesn't like either. That was a good summer time catch for the short time you spent on the water. That is my kind of trip my buddy wants to be on the water at first light or before. Good bag of fish Marv. Need to get out today but the boss had other plans. With luck I’ll get out tomorrow and maybe have a few to clean myself.

Id be happy with that catch any time of the year.
You've raised a few questions in my mind, like how you were fishing?
You mentioned curley tail, seems the only way they work well for me is by trolling them, especially behind the boat,
which I don't do very often. But maybe I should? lol
