Default Lake Harris - That other Freshwater Species Help Needed

I am fishing in my friend's buddies Memorial Bass Tournament out of Hickory Point on Friday March 2nd. I plan on pre fishing on Sunday but it has been 3+ years since I targeted bass. I know a few members fish Lake Harris and Little Lake Harris regularly for crappie but any tips or current conditions for largemouth would be greatly appreciated. I figure that there should be some bedding fish and reading up online I think I found some areas to check. Thank you in advance and appreciate any help.

East side of little lake, south of the bridge there are canals. At the mouth of those canals Bass would school and chase bait on the surface. With this warm weather they may start early. Been a long time though.

It all depends on where you are launching and how far you want to run. If you are putting in at Buzzard beach over on eustis there are some residential canals between eustis and Harris that we do good in at times or you can run N/W to Haines creek and there we fish the pad fields using frog's on top and senko June bug worms. If you are putting in over on Harris I like the south end of little lake Harris around the mouth of the creek and all the canals up the east shoreline. Good Luck and don't forget to hit all the mouths of the canals with red eyes cranks or rattle traps for the schoolies.
