Thread: Largo/Seminole area Help

I could use a bit of help. My brother-in-law passed this morning from cancer. My wife wants to go down for a week or two to help her sister with matters. I am thinking of tagging along if I can find some fishing. Prefer crappie but, bass, redfish bone fish or ??? Open to ideas and suggestions. Have never fished the area. Thanks

I'm sorry for your loss. If you're taking a boat and would like to get some reds, the area inside Johns Pass was good to me when I was there years ago. I knew nothing of the area and did well behind the island inside the pass on a rising tide. Live bait was best but artificials work good too. Best is to hire a guide if the budget allows. Enjoy your stay.
