I was on the phone with my nephew and commented on how pretty the sunrise was, and here someone has caught it for the rest of us. Glad to see everyone got out and the fish were good to everyone. It's been hard to keep my mind on the task at hand with everything going on in my preferred world, but the real world keeps the groceries comin. Excellent day Y'all.

Baconator, what do you do, jump in the water and beat the crappie into submission! They all bloodied up!

Great pics, glad you all had fun. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful sunrise pic for sure.

John, you get that fish on the slabsauce?

I was spider rigging at 1.7 mph with a mix of minnows and shinnee hinnies. Fish hit a minnow on a bare gold hook.
Could not tell if the sauce was washing off the hinnies or not. Only had three in the boat when returned to the launch. Total caught 8.

    Hello Friends ....... been awhile.
Was lucky enough to sneak out a few times myself this season and enjoy that elusive “week day” fishing stuff. New holder, poles, and transport racks on the newly reconfigured ride left me excited to get out.

After missing most of last year traveling.......... it sure felt great just sitting in the boat on a beautiful lake. Low expectations, enjoying the moment, resulted in an unexpected windfall of excess bites and 2lb beauties, all released to enjoy another day. Hard to get much better.

This ‘weekday’ fishing stuff is really nice.

Back on the road again ....... but planning the next trip in my mind.
Sure was nice getting out...........really makes you appreciate the simple things in life............everyday is a blessing.

Be safe out there friends................ Slow Ride coming through!

Very nice fish & beautiful sunrise picture. Sounds like a great day, glad to see you are doing well Stu !!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Man seeing all those boats out on open water is driving my crazy. I am stuck up here in Wisconsin preparing for 8 to 10 inches of snow tonight!
