just have to share my feelings about bass tournament fishermen. used to be one myself. now i hate many of them. often inconsiderate and unsafe. speeding around way too fast in fog. speeding around corners ( points) without looking. speeding through a slow moving group of crappie fisherman too closely causing big waves. live on talquin-nearly hit by a tournament guy in april he cut in front of me at 60-70 mph (20 feet) while i had the right of way!! so important to get to that next spot. too many guys who think they are kevin van dam or roland martin. wanted to chase him, but wanted to fish more.

This is the day the Lord hath made, rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24
I'll share with anyone, but find little in common with most Green carp tourney guys. Inconsiderate and arrogant.

I keep a bass rod handy loaded with cheap mono(not tied to the spool) and a 1/2 oz bait, If they look like they are going to give me a close call on the lake I grab the rod, wait till they get 100 yards away and heave that sucker across their path. Man that line comes off quick when it gets into their prop. If I know a tourney is going on I stay out of a few of the canals I normally fish as that is their route to get to lake kissimmee.
I have found them generally considerate to me on Tarpon Lake
Lucky for me I mostly fish Talquin during the week thus avoided them. However, over the years I notice that the more patches they have on their shirts the bigger jerks they are. Also many of them have Mercury Motors on their boats!
