    Default Any Crappie around Naples


    I am heading down to visit my sister in Naples in May. I like to crappie fish but I wasn't sure if it there were any crappie down around Naples. It may be way to hot at that time anyway. Any crappie down there?

    Dude! Take a once in a lifetime trip to the backcountry for epic snook and redfish. Not sure on any freshwater down there but Naples is in a mecca for inshore saltwater. I went with this guy and highly recommend him. Awesome trip and he does not watch his watch. Our 4 hour trip was actually 7 hours. Had a well full of bait when he picked us up so we went straight fishing and stretched lines all day long.

    Tarpon might be showing up by then also. If you follow huntinslabs advice you won't regret it. Some days you can watch them take your bait. Also Goliath Grouper inshore.

    Huntinslabs, trip is booked with Mike for a week from today. Can't wait to take the wife out for a day of fishing. Thanks again for the tip on Mike.

    Tell him Mike and Sylvia recommended him. My wife bought me a guided trip last year for my birthday and surprised me with it. We both had a great day but my wife was top dog that day for sure. He is a great guy and I know you will have a great time. Look here Captain Mike Smith, Sanibel Fishing Charters, Fort Myers fishing charters scroll down to the June 2, 2016 post, that was our trip. I bet we caught at least 30 snook that day along with about 6 reds and 1 in slot, all the rest were way over slot.
