Size:  58.9 KBWent and did some single pole fishing today on the river. Can't tell a fishing report like skeetbum just basic but went out and hit some blowdowns I am familiar with (thanks huntinslabs for helpful info) produce 11 keepers today, 1 really good one 16 incher no weight before the heat run me home.

    single pole jigging is my thing, good to see you out and dipping along the laydown's, always fun and when you bring out a HOG like that one? Nice day!

    Thinking about heading north from the Cabbage next trip.
    Hit the canels yesterday. Real slow early. Muds and gar. Hooked a few specks trolling, but greenhorned many.
    It was like they really didn't want it, jus hit it out of spite. Seemed to break surface and spit it. Little better about 2:00, ended up with six and a five pound bass.
    The bass was a hoot with an UL and 4lb. Imagine​ my surprise, when I got him to break water! Was thinking "surly another muddy".......
