    My two MO buddies had a blast and were very grateful for the warm welcome you all gave them. Good tips you gave them as they havn't had the best success catching crappie there. Will be there to show them, again, how it's done in couple weeks and hope to hook up with CDC members then.

    Another 1 in the books, THANKS Slab for holding the event...heck of a selection of eats, good to see some familiar faces as well as meet some new, Yobuck that was some awesome summer sausage, pleasure meeting you & your wife, Danny thanks for taking us back to tradition with a twist of shrimp as well CG1 w/cake glad you & hubby made it out...big THANKS to cooks & set-up crew, Vic for the baits, thumbs-up & Shu for the jig info & jig bait...always learning something at each event. Hope to see everyone again soon on-the-water w/tightlines......BB hope this last surgery brings a successful & much needed recovery!

    I have been busy picking, cleaning, pickling loquats. Than done, here are the weights of those fish brought to the scales.:

    Speckanator - - - -.88 Lbs
    Shu - - - - - - - - -.77 Lbs.
    Marlin - - - - - - - -.77 lbs.
    Speck Detector - - .74 Lbs.
    Ken - - - - - - - - -.72 Lbs.
    Anchor Man - - - - .72 Lbs.
    Y-Slab - - - - - - - .63 Lbs.
    Flycaster - - - - - -.59 Lbs.

    NOT a day for the heavy weights, BUT a GREAT day for fellowship among friends. THANKS to SLAB for hosting this event.
