    As a PA snowbird, I spent the last three winters in Silver Springs fishing for Crappie at Lochloosa and Halfmoon with mixed results. Next winter, I'm staying in Dunnellon. Any nearby crappie lakes, tactics and timing hints?

    Lake Rouseau is very close. It is a reservoir with plenty of stumps. You will have to learn your way. I would suggest a guide to start with. Beautiful and wild place. Withalacochee backwaters known for big bass.
