I've been looking at the wx forecasts for this weekend, may have to hit some big water.

Haven't fished in a good while, took some time off to set up for duck hunting and learn the ropes a bit. Think it was early december the last I went.

So how did ya do duck huntin? Really miss hunting the flooded timber in Louisiana.

I didn't start until late in the season and the birds were already plenty used to being shot at. We did OK, got a few. I stayed away from the hotspots too, just to avoid the crowds and not be that googan screwing everyone up out of inexperience. Good learning experience. Will definitely be ready for next season.

I booked a campsite at Highland Park fish camp for this weekend, so I'll be up that way, believe Lonehunter is gonna come up that way too, fish Woodruff/the dead river.

gezzers will have fun

Got on the river, slight fog, NO wind.
Fish hit the jigs HARD, landed a few.
Great day to be on the water.
