Thumbs up Shumeister had to use two fish counters...

The day started off with a beautiful sunrise. Look at that. Isn't it wild how the clouds formed right there and the light shined through. Awesome.

And later we finally caught some fish, but the wrong kind and definitely the wrong size. Can you believe that little gewber tried to eat that crankbait!

Now we are on track catching the right fish.

    And again.

By the time all was said and done we had caught 41 fish. Yes I said 41 fish. Shu had to use two fish counters. He could not believe it. We fished all morning, we fished hard, and the fishing kept us amused. I could tell Shu was especially amused cause he was changing his rigs and colors every 5 minutes. He was searching for the killer bait that would bring in the big ones.

But although we caught a lot, we did not catch quality fish. Shu wanted a few fish (for fish tacos) and of those 41 fish, we kept only 8. Yep, only 8 ok fish, and of those only one was over 12 inches. What a difference a day makes. Yesterday a couple bigun's, today a ton of dinks. I guess that's why they call it fishing, like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.

Hard to believe but not a minnow in the boat, just imagine what a 1/4# of large minnows would have done..--shu

Good day fellers and a wonderful sunrise. Been a tough week for me to concentrate at work. Conditions have been great, even if the fish don't always cooperate. Good job fellers.
