Welcome from Orange City. Leave the Astor ramp and go south til you see a fish camp on the right. That would be Powell's. Off to the left is Dexter. I like a jig n cork among the weeds and haven't been there in a while so I don't know if the weeds will let you troll or not. Further along in the same direction would be Woodruff. Same approach and it has been giving up some nice fish lately. All else fails, come fish Monroe with the rest of us, straight down 17-92 and the ramp is on the left just before the St. Johns river bridge. $2 to launch but worth it. Get a bunch.

I second Woody...some very good fish in there & the water level should not affect the lakes as much as the river, current, ect...

Good at times but frustrating sometimes also. Beresford has given up it's share over the years. If you fish the river itself don't just beat the bank. There's sometimes a small ledge out from the bank a bit and they'll stage on it.

The best Spec fishing in this area is the River between the 40 bridge and the Jetties on Lake George. Period..
