    Got on the water at 7:30am , wind was chilly, glad I put on my winter coat, 52 when I left the house. Don't take long to get acclimated to this Florida weather.

    Started longlining and marking all kinds of fish! Was just waiting for that first hit, well 3 hours later I was still waiting!

    Received a text from a friend who I showed a little about spider rigging, he had 18 in the boat by 9:15. Thinking I'm a better teacher than a fisherman!
    What time is it? IT'S CRAPPIE TIME!

    Tryed two of my Pitts until noon today long lined early and single polled til noon didn't catch the first speck so don't feel bad!

    I think that cold front had a lot to do with these reports, we always want the cooler weather, but the fish need time to adjust, good thing is there's always tomorrow for ya.....

    I did good painting the daughters house today. Sounds like I would have had a hit or miss day. There's always next weekend. By then Danny and Speckanator should have em zero'd in.

    Tough days are what keep ya coming back. If it were a no brainer day in and dsy out it would get boring.
