Some of those look like heirlooms. Best tomato I've ever put in my mouth. Nice looking 'maters Ginny.

Haha! Yeah lickety split. A woman that can (and will) filet fish might be considered a prize in these parts... lol.

    Skeetbum,

A lot ot them are heirlooms. Not the Romas I guess, but there are Brandywines, Black Krim, and quite a few other types. They grew so much better in Philly than they do in Florida.

When I buy seeds or plants I see bugs and fungus putting napkins around their necks.

    Sunshine,

I use Earthboxes and other Self Watering Containers and do really well even though we are only 40 yards (or less) ftom the intracoastal waterway (Oak Hill, FL).

Here are some pictures of my plants from this past spring (before we went to Philly for the summer). You can see the water in the background of some of the pictures.

You can sort of see the Earthbox in the above picture.

Yelim - same here. It is definitely a hassle to grow maters and some other veggies here. Lost the whole crop last fall due to a virus transmitted by white flies. The ones we grow taste so much better than store bought or we wouldnt do it.
