Wont bother the fish in the least judged by years past. Just puts lots of floaters on the water to avoid when trolling. But big patches hold fish so dont avoid all together. But it will kill single poling the banks if the water gets into the woods.
Headed home to Citrus county next week after summer in up-state NY. With all the rain we have had and high water how will it affect the fishing and how long? I think the river would be worse than the lakes. I intend to crappie fish a lot more than usual this winter and attend some of the Crappie events.

Certain parts over have been getting some rain & some ain't. South Fl & west coast should have plenty but the ponds over here are still 4-5 ft below normal.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
Sounds like the Clermont chain past few years....... Until this year and now it's the highest water in years.
