    Default something diffrrent

Me and Andy headed out from the house at 5 this morning. Went and launched from Edgewater to stay away from race traffic and the madness at Ponce and New Smyrna ramps. After getting gas and bait we were headed out with a beautiful sunrise.

Got offshore and went to the near reefs that Volusia county sunk. Totally impressed with the Motor Guide anchor lock. That thing is precise no matter wind or tide. Caught countless undersize Mangrove snapper and black sea bass. Had a ball of bait come up getting slammed and picked off a bonito. Managed a small shark as well.Name: 0702160934d.jpg

Yep, had a good day with Mike. Second the thumbs up on the motor guide anchor lock it even held in the fast current next to the bridge, very impressed!!! No anchor to drop, no anchor to get caught up and lost.!!! And anchor man (ME) did not have to pull in 200 foot of anchor rope in a bouncing boat.......................

Actually exceeds my expectations. The hull design is very well done. That boat is very well mannered. Very stable, soft ride, and dry. No buyers remorse here. I would recommend one in a heartbeat. And I bought it after speaking to a guy 3 blocks away that was washing his and had nothing but praise for his. Now I just have to put the time in and get on fish in the brine again. Been about 12 years since I spent any significant time over there and that was in a 13' stumpknocker skiff, so old stomping grounds probably out of reach for most part. But I willnfigure em out again.

    Hey Mike,

Before moving to Florida a couple years ago, used to do a lot of Saltwater fishn'. If you ever get the chance to go after the Mahi Mahi on lite tackle, you'll never forget it. They are one of the most fun and acrobatic fish I have ever caught.

I also used to catch Rooster Fish ( Pez Gallo) and Jack Crevelle ( Toro ), mostly from the Pacific Surf.

    Regards,
    pescador
