Default Trip from Lakeland to Key West and back. Part 5

Arrived yesterday afternoon in Key West, for a 3 night stay, right on the Atlantic.

Breakfast was included with our Motel and it was a great one. Bacon, eggs, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, pastry's, coffee, juice, milk, etc. etc.

About 9 am the "Old Towne Trolley" stops right at our Motel and for a price, picks up and drops off people to many of the highlights in the area. We had used this service up at St. Augustine, very informative drivers and sure beats trying to find a parking space and paying $2-$4 an hour for parking.

Couple problems I see with me buying one of them.
    1. Assigned parking space. I see 6 spaces total for the complex. I would need 4 minimum.
    2. HOA would probably ask just who the heck is this Jethro Bodine fellow toting all this crap into our community.
    3. And the largest problem, $765.00 sq' pricing. I could maybe get a screen porch.

#3 is why I could never live down there. Too rich for my blood. Otherwise I would be down there already.

Love your sense of humor Mike!

HOA probably wouldn't mind as long as Jethro brought Elly May, and her double barreled slingshot.

Well it only took me 73 years to get to there!

As long as I'm close to the water and can fish, Lakeland is just fine with me.

Take care my friend, are you taking the boat for a ride this weekend?

Planning on it. Got the stern saver mounted up last night so it has plenty time to dry and bond before messing with it. Planning to mount trolling motor and depthfinder Saturday morning, possibly take her for a spin Saturday afternoon pending the weather, then probably do some feeshing Sunday and Monday. Then swing back by the dock and pick up some family and and go fer a lil cruise.

Good times for sure & you are right about the key lime pie & sunsets
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
