    Default Tomtom catches monster!

Illinois gewber comes down and catches monster crappie. We had a great day. It's always a great day when you run out of minners! lol

    Lake Name: Not Griffin!

Bait: Road Runner tipped with minner.

Gewber called for a net and I thought he was kidding because we were pretty much catching 10-11 inch fish exclusively.

Yeah I know, not the mosters many of you all catch down here, but if you live on Griffin, this is a monster! lol

14.5 Inches long, and beautiful. Love these Florida Crappie.

All fish released cause the Shumeister bailed on us! doh

It's a small lake that prolly don't need the attention. Besides, I promised the person that turned me on to the lake that I would not tell the whole world about it on here. PM me if'n you really want to know. I encourage everyone to share pics and techniques, but they need not give away locations that might end up causing undue pressure if published on a public forum. Particularly on small lakes, and particularly in this case where even a gewber like me can catch crappie!

I agree. Reading posts like the one on Ga board about Georgia boys being full with Georgia and Alabama tags and the pics of boats on water stacked close enough to share crickets they aint sight seeing. Our lakes are taking a beating real bad.

I agree with everyone's thoughts - i have stopped posting several items about how - where - when
equipment used etc on various lakes where pressure has really started to mount in past couple years.
Will help them if asked directly on pm or through my e-mail - especially of they are just starting out.
