Still in the 24/7 pain catagory - taking 2 - 4 325ml hydrocodon every 6 - 8 hrs - when they kick in - can walk good with
no pain -
Present family doctor that took over for my doctor of 23 yrs (origin doctor died), says he really dosen't have enough
information to make a positive decision - i paid to have 23 yrs of transcripts sent to him -
He has me going to a rehab center for 6 weeks to relieve the pain - now that 2 operations are done
and pain is what was giving me problem first place 1 yr ago has returned. ( background to this was - i was
going to have Spinal operation on my back to relieve pain - but i couldn't have it done until i got a cardiac clearance)
NO problem - that led to my having triple bypass - which lead to me having femoral operation on legs due to no
circulation.
Now i'm back to square one - So now we have to go through 6 wks of rehab. before they tell me that it can't be
helped - that i need to see a spine doctor.
Isn't life wonderful -
Can't fish - no doctor's clearance yet - but I am going to try this Sunday - going to cabin Saturday, Ken Hamilton
comming over Sunday - we'll put boat in water and go from there - test my stamina in boat for spider riggin, as we
are scheduled to have FCC tournament out of Hatchineha next Saturday - and i am coordinator of show.
I believe it is the sciatic nerve comming from hips shooting pain down both legs same time, all the time, doesn't matter
if standing, walking, sitting - relief comes after i lay down for about 10 min, laying flat - if i move it hurts this goes on
all the time..
Pain management people can't do anything as it is to close to latest operation - need a least 60 days after.
Yippee - can't wait till May time frame.
Sorry for bending you guys ears with my whinning................but life is good - every day above ground is great - had
it not been for first operation i might not be here now - if it wren't for second operation i might be in wheelchair rest of
my life with no legs. God has spared me for a reason - i hope he lets me know soon what it is though.
Hey guys/ladies thanks for asking.................

Thanks for the update Harold. Having been down that road I think of you often and wonder how you're coming along. Bad deal about the original pain still there. I can't imagine your frustration but I know I'd be wound a bit tight also. Prayers will continue. Hope the fishing helps you relax and decompress some, it always helps me. Looking forward to hear about you getting some relief.
