Have used many times for crappie in florida. You will lose a big fish some times through lilly pads but they are so lite and comfortable. I would think they would be excellent for bream. I keep couple in boat at all times. Biggest thing is if you hang a jig up and yank on end a lot tip will break. I keep a lure retriver at my feet to get my jigs back so it saves the rods

There is a graphite Lil Jewel and there is a fiberglass Lil Jewel. I have both but once I got the graphite this is the one I use 90% of the time for bream fishing. They are fragile though and the tips will break if abused. For rough use like pads and brush the fiberglass model is more forgiving if you get a hangup. I have purchased 3 or 4 replacement tips for the graphite pole.....I'm a slow learner.

One thing i forgot is I tie the line about 6 inches from the eye. I put a piece of electrical tape in front of the knot to keep it from sliding forward and then run line through the eye on end. These rods are tougher than you think but are not made to abuse by snatching against them trying to unhang a jig.

The link says they are fiberglass, but I'm almost positive mine are a graphite/glass composite. I bought mine a few years ago, so they may have changed them since then. I used to use 13' BnM poles, but I thought these 12-footers were noticeably lighter.

I have landed small catfish on them, so I know they will handle bream. I like 'em!

FWIW, I used to own a graphite Little Jewel. I never broke it, but it did seem a little fragile.
