    Default Cold front Crappies Lakeland

Saturday water was calm and as I soon found out, so were the Crappies! I managed 7 by 10am, then I may as well been fishin in my bathtub! Tried everything I could think of, speed change, depth changes, colors, minners, nibbles. Where were you when I needed you Yelim??? Lol

Water calm, temps 66 degrees, colors varied, gold, blue, chart all tipped with minner. Most caught around .4-.5mph if I remember correct.

    Have done worse.

Always good to get out Mike. Many guys were beating the bushes, with no luck . These Crappies sure remind me of Walleye fishing up North, many characteristics are similar.
