Good bunch of fish ya got there Danny, Glad I could offer a hint . Monroe looked good about 3 today when I was headed home with lots of cloud cover. That either means they feed like crazy or send ya home with a bloody nose. Glad you had fun.
My brother and I had lots of small boats with what we thought were big motors on them back in the early 80's. Had a 12' Jon with a '56 - 18hp Johnson that almost took both hands to pull start. That thing would scream but wouldn't turn. At about 15* it just kept going straight. Made quick maneuvers out of the question. Cypress Gardens and Sea World used an 8' tunnel boat called a Flivver(two V's) that was made for 10 hp or less. 20 hp made them scream and there was a guy on the Butler chain that had a 40hp Merc and a steering setup that let him move the weight forward. I would NOT have tried to drive that one, but it was fun to watch outrun Mom and Dads bowriders. My current boat is as experimental as I care to get anymore.
