Heading down to Lochloosa next week, wondering how the bite has been. Anyone having any luck these days?

Went last Tuesday and Saturday caught about 60 each trip. Caught most trolling pink/chartreuse curly tails. We kept about 25 of the biggest each trip.

plenty of good eater fish (10 -11") 15 oz's or better
working center of lake in trench /deep spot.

Tournament fish will deeper as sun comes up and brightness of day.

Working pad /grass line early 6:45 - 7:15 will work with skirted jigs -
again once sun clears trees - things change

Launch early or you'll have to park on the other side of the RR tracks unless you launch from the fish camp. I got there an hour before sunrise the day I went and was fourth in line to launch! Have a great time and post some pics for us poor guys at work!

Trip to Lochlooosa was great, boated over 70 fish, 30-40 were decent in size. Only down size was when I dropped my phone in the lake . It was a huge hassle not having a phone for the weekend.
Fished Clermont chain on Saturday, bite was awesome, limited out by 1:00 with a few fish pushing 2lbs
