Been reading comments on here for last 2 weeks and couldn't stand it anymore!! Took yesterday off and went down to Lochloosa. Launched at 6:30 and ramp was already full. Loaded the boat at 12:30. Caught 25, lost two at boat GRRRRR! kept 17. Beautiful day. A little wind but not so much I couldn't long line troll. Using jigs tipped with minnows. They loved anything with orange in it. Must have been Fl. Gator Crappie! Thanks to all that posted about Lochloosa and "forced" me to take a day off work and go fishing! Oh yeah one more thing this lake is higher than I've ever seen it. Had to wade to get to the dock. That's OK though!!

Very nice! I'm trying to find some time to head up there one weekend next month to try it out myself. Looks promising!

Nice pics, looks like a great day especially to NOT be at work !!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
