Default Nice afternoon to be on the water

Had one of my high school buddies out today and we caught some quality fish. All fish were caught long lining in 6' fow. The jig for the day was a silver and blue twister tail. We only fished about 3.5 hours and put some good ones in the boat. All fish were returned to fight again.

    Good ones Vic !!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Yes Jim, that's why I like to come to Florida and fish in the winter, plus there is a bunch of nice folks that all have the same thing in common. They love to speck/ crappie fish. Still looking for that 3 lb. crappie, hope to find one soon. I will not be fishing the next 10 days, going on a cruse and a week in a time share. I may stop back at Crescent lake on my way back north. Hope you don't get hit too hard with the snow. See you in March.

Hey Gene, yes we caught some good fish yesterday. Today is a different day though. I fished lake Joanna and got skunked. My friend from PA. caught 1 crappie and I only caught 3 bass. We only fished 3 hours and had some honey do's on our list.
