30 rods and reels, and several reels in reserve. This after a purge of un-used salt gear when I moved north. I run 6 to 8 out of holders up front when alone, and it can really get busy at times. Tackle boxes - that's another story. I use LOTS of the plano clear boxes so that I can just grab what I need, or take out what I don't. I have a 4' wide shelf ceiling high in the garage that is all tackle and a little boat stuff. Wifey doesn't complain about my stuff, you need to wade through her area in the garage. She sews and quilts and has another room in the house i call no mans land cuz I sure don't belong in there. Oh, that doesn't count my tying stuff in the house. I got enough to keep me occupied when it's cold or rainy and I can't go play.

36 rods and reels. 12 empty rods and 4 spare reels. 4 tackle boxes and a 3 1/2 foot white igloo cooler full of saltwater fishing gear and tackle. I always catch it when I go to Bass pro she knows that something is coming home. Cant complain though the whole family just bought me a Yeti 65 cooler for my birthday!!! Cant wait to fill it with fish!!

I have to show this rod/reel thread to the mizzus. I only have about 15 rod/ reel combos plus 3-4 cranky reels. Have 1 junk parts tackle box, 1 soft side, 1 cantaliever with all the plastic I rarely use, 1 bucket box, and a shoulder bag for bank walking. Thinking I'm O.K. as far as bags, but seriously deprived on my rod/reel status. That being said, I fish 90% with 2 rods, so I never felt deprived until now.
