    Default Monroe River Jig Fish

    Long time no see................

Took the Gheenoe out and jigged up a few in the Monroe river area on Saturday and I do mean only a few.
First fish after only five minutes of fishing, 14" second fish 12" and then down hill after that. First trip to the river in over a month.
The last three photo's are for Phantom. They are from our shrimping trip... December's coming Phantom.........................

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Yum! We had some scrimps a couple nights ago that we caught over there.

    Love that Gheenoe!

Makes me hungry for it all. Is there any good shrimping going on anywhere, I am to find out for one of my therapist. (Yes, I still have to go to leg therapy 3 times a week)

Danny said the shrimping at haulover and mosquito lagoon has dropped way off. It usually picks back up again around Dec or January.

Not sure if the extended brown tide will affect the shrimp this year.
