Talquin here i come
My father just closed on a place down the road from talquin lodge last Friday after a little pushing from me and rawhide did not take much pushing but it worked all the same the only problem but not a big problem as a matter of fact no problem I have to do the up keepbeing is he is retried and only wants to fish me and the wife will be down sunday afternoon to clean the yards and some pruning to make it look better before he can make it down hopefully replace some boards on the dock so he can do a little fishing from there it will take a little work but I think we will be very happy specially from all the people I have been introduced down there so if I see anyone down there stop and say hello

The bite is good at this time of year. Large amount of 10 -11 inch everywhere thanks to a large shad hatch this year. The 2 inch shad are everywhere. Got one more day down here then headed home tomorrow. Would post few pics but Camera not in boat.

Never saw a blind skitter before,but the next door neighbor told me that was what they were,the grass was three feet high in someplaces there had to be millions of them, but still got the yard in shape just waiting for next weekend.

didn't work too well, now they crud up your car's front end, and can make the paint come off =keep em cleaned off ...........

naw no love bug these things are a lot bigger than the average skitter but they did not bite they would just swarm all over you especially in your nose,mouth and eyes
