I usually fish Lake Tarpon since it is close to where I live but can't seem to catch anything wothwhile. I went last weekend but only caught a few fish and they were all too little to keep. Any advice on how to fish the lake. Long lining, tight lines, of spider rig? Also minnows or jigs? When do the crappie go to the weeds? Thanks for any help? I haven't been Crappie fishing very long.

havent fished Lake Tarpon in a few years but when I did I would go straight across to the other side from the park in Tarpon Springs on us19. And fish to the south from there ,out about 75 yards from the shore line, use white jigs drifting
FCC held tournament there 2 weeks ago and 7 fish stringer weighed in over 9 1/2 lbs
There are plenty of fish in Tarpon.....................
Several of us fish it year around every week or two................
