    We will be fishing Lake Harris starting 8/9. Hope someone could give us some good spots to catch Bream and Shell Crackers. We usually fish Creasant but much earlier in the year. Death in family has changed all that. To many memories there right now.

    Hey Hookem,
    You might want to try the south end of Harris. There is a creek channel about 100yds off the bank mostly around 21'deep and there are some humps here and there toward the bank. Might also try the Dead river pads out in the middle. Not real sure just how deep they are this time of year, but there are places around with sandy, gravel bottoms. Best to check at the bait shop there in Eustis on the north side of the hwy. They are about 1/2 mile from the lake and behind a Wendy's I believe. The guys in there won't steer you wrong and they normally have just about any kind of bait you would need.

    We wound up fishing Little Lake Harris and had some luck. I didn't read your post before I left. Will try that next time. Thanks for the help!
