Thread: Lake Dias

I have not been yet. But with all the cold weather the water lice and skiers should be gone. Have always done well there on the far end from the ramp and at the mouths of the 2 creeks by the ramp. There is some fatties in there as well. If ya go post up or shoot me a pm and let me know. Oh and welcome aboard!!

I went out on Saturday,Got in the water around 7 parking lot was pretty much full .Started trolling in about 12.5 feet of water picked up a nice 15 inch slab then most of the morning just was picking up bunch of small ones.Then a some clounds rolled in with a little rain picked up couple more nice slabs and few little ones.Trolled around some towards the back right side of the lake and didnt realy find anything there .So i started trolling back in got some little rain again and stayed in the 12.5 foot range of water .Then must of run across the honey hole cause i couldnt keep a line in the water they were hitting the heck out of the minnow .Total keepers i took home was 12 in the 10 to 15 inch size.Got out of the water around 4 .all in all it was a good trip

Its on Hwy 11 just north of Deland. Bout a half hour ride from ya. Great spot for night fishing too.
