Hello Vince. You can get minnows about 1.5 from the johns lake boat ramp. On hwy 50, before you get to the boat ramp you'll see a boat store on the South side of the road. It's hard to miss and they have minnows.
The crappie are typically in only a few places on this lake. I'll shoot you a pm.

I hope you catch a big limit and then brag about it!!LOL!! I haven't heard any reports from Johns. They should be ramping up.
I used to kill them this time of year. Good Luck!
