MT Man, that is a great area for crappie....Iskie has some good areas around the lily pads
that you should be able to catch a mess in. Read the fishing report in Highlands Today
newspaper for the latest info when you go. Good Luck! Lake June also has some very
good spec fishing and is easily accessed there.

Yes should put a boat on this lake...........excellant fishery for Crappie (Spec's)

We have a Florida Crappie Club tournament scheduled for this lake on March 31st.

Quite a few guys who live around the town of Okeechobee go over to Istakpoga to fish, I tease them that they can't catch a keeper on Kissimmeeriver or the big lake with it's 10 inch size limit. I personaly have never fished there but I am going to try it when I get there next month, which is next week.

GM, Muncie gear.......those have been gone for years now, Guide lamp and many of the GM plants in Anderson are fields now, Muncie gear, it's been empty for about 4 years now building is for sale but will most likely become an empty field also. I work at the only boat dealer in Anderson as the Ranger dealer that I worked at for almost 9 years it closed, no dealers in Muncie, just the pontoon dealer south at Prarrie Creek resivoir. They even closed the stamping plant in Indy, which leave Marion Stamping and Ft Wayne Truck assembly plant as the only GM around, most everything in Kokomo is also closed, I think the Chrysler Trans plant is the only thing left. Bad, bad bad around here lately, Gov Daniels talks about how good it is here but the only thing prospering here are thieves and drug dealers. People I know that live in Florida talk about going home , and I tell them it ain't there any more, left when all the jobs left.

Sounds about like here except lumber yards, truss plants, and concrete plants.

GM Marion - Gm Indianapolis along with mentioned plants were my biggest customers
I was in trucking industry for 50 years..........specialized equipment - JIT priority
contracted to GM - Ford & Chrysler..........
If we couldn't get it done via a truck - they chartered the work out.
All that type of work is now long long gone...........Indiana-Ohio-Michigan-Illinois
Canadian & Mexican market lanes i knew well, we did them all.

    Thanks for information
