Ive heard good about that and theres even a boat sunk there.only 12 feet deep.i will be trying in feb.welcome aboard.
When I was a kid my grandfather use to take me spec fishing on Lake George out of Louie Bucks fishcamp (long gone) and we always went to the bomging range. Im headed back to Geogetown first weekend in March. Is the bombing range still there? Is that still a good place to start?
Thanks

Welcome fishnNole. Don't know anything about George except when I hear the bombs blow. I guess fishnNole is a fishing seminole.Thumbs Up
I wish we had more information regarding Lake George on this forum. Hope there is more to come...

I fished it a couple of times this summer. We found the sunken barge and caught 7 all over 14 inches when the temp was about 95 degrees. It was right in the middle of the bombing ranges. They do still exist. The other two times we went, we got blown off the lake. Lost my big anchor on the barge because of the 5 foot swells. Welcome to the forum and hope you find em!
Thanks guys - Im meeting my brother from Jax and we are taking our 80 yr old dad for his 81st birthday! The old fart can still throw a shrimp net too. We will start at the bomging range and work our way around. Look forward to additional reports. Plan to spend a day on Crescent Lake also.
I'll surely post how we did. Unfortunately there has been more Nole than fishn lately and not enough of either one of those.
Thanks for the info Shane. Pretty cool.

No problem. Have you fished Louisa this year?
Yep, it was dead the last two times I fished it. How about you, have you been back since it was hot last year?
