Thread: lake water up and the bite is on

What lake is up? All the ones I see in the greater Orlando area are still low!

this is lake manattee it is in bradenton and its a state park all lakes around my area is high and not as hot .. orlando isnt far from here its like 1 hr 20 min .... going out this weekend to put the hurt to them more then welcome to come on down and i will take you out

Good report and nice catch. Congrats. I'll be glad when we see enough water to raise our lake levels some. Then maybe they'll bite here too.

it was almost as good as a winter bit this morning and to bet all i was the only one out on the lake this morning ...... but thank you gabowman

hey jamin leave my wife and I some for this winter...hehe enjoy manatee is very nice lake

Kissimmee is up about 1 1/2 ft, but still below winter pool.............only thing really
bothering at night is "blind mesquitoes" otherwise decent bite especially 7-9 days
after full moon. water temp still 85 plus, along with Rosalie, Walk-in-water & Crooked.

Manatee has 2 lakes, upper & lower - how was bite in big lake up near deep water
45 - 60' near dam area, along with some of the river bends near airaerators ???

Note: for those interested in Manatee, excellent fishery, 2,500 plus acres of water,
deep in spots, but has a 20 hp mtr restriction max. on lake - lake is water source
for Bradenton/Palmento Florida owned by Manatee County and land is leased or
rented by Florida Parks & Recreation.. FWC will write you if you fire mtr over 20 hp.
even for unloading or loading..........Lake is patrolled dailey...

i will rodger forsure there is more in this lake this yr then i have seen in the past two yrs.. when u do get down here i would love to finly meet you and maybe fishin813 can tail in my boat and we can just put a hurt to the pop. of specks ... lol
