    Default Lake Manatee pre-fish

    Fishin 4 slabs & i checked out
    Lake Manatee yesterday on
    a pre-fish.
    4/1/2 hrs we kept 23 - 11" plus
keepers, ave wgt of 15 oz.

using a 7 fish tournament rule
totaling 6 lbs, 9oz of fish.

Not bad for a 2,500 plus acre city of Bradenton water impoundment
off dammed up river.......ave depth unkn, water up near dam came
in at 45' plus, with several river holes and turns over 30' deep.

    Hopefully attached pictures come onboard

I was just about to post a thread about not seeing any crappie pics lately. And then you come through! Finally someone caught and took pictures of some fish.

Would have put pic's up long time ago, but couldn't really get them from my desktop
to CDC. Finally had Adjust555 come by today and give lessons 101 on how to post.
Somehow got three on there, will continue to put more on if possible, if my meds hold
out and continue my AMC classes (anger management classes)

Nice fish. If someone didn't know any better, because of the color they would think they were caught in three differant places. Great report.

Direction of sunlight on male that Earl is holding really made fish look almost black
    which he was.

I very rarely filet fish right after being caught, usually 12 - 14 hrs later after being
packed in ice............possible this may have them looking a little lighter...but all
were caught in same lake but were caught in 5 different areas, with veg. and lake
floor different compositions. Most were males, but really heathly and large in
comparison to Kissimmee or Roselie males.
