    First count me in

Second, the launching anywhere is fine with me, but Ive heard enought about the chain to feel Beauclair and Carleton are the places to be?

Where would one with a smaller HP boat launch from if he didnt want to be the 3 hour lake warrior (with a 40hp) just to get to those lakes?

Is there any chance to get these other launch sites/ramp locations?

Wooten or buzzard beach but the finish back would be a long ride to Wooten through the Dora canal I think.
Take your trash out with you. Respect the resources. Take a kid fishing. Have patience at the boat ramp.

    Stu,
Let me know if you need any help with launching sites. I am from Leesburg, and I know pretty much all the boat ramps to each lake. Looking forward to placing some names to faces too.

Stu, I'm planning on launching at Mt. Dora city ramp and fishing Beauclair and Carlton. Trimble park is right on Beauclair, but they don't open until 8am. Both lakes are a short kick from the Mt Dora ramp.

Gentlemen & Ladies, I will not be able to make this Slabfest due to Club Tournament
same day off the Winter Haven South Chain. At this time i do not wish to cause any
hard feelings but I will post that tournament date the week prior to the 16th. Several
thought I had stepped outside the lines by posting same as Slap-fest last meeting.
Once again i will apology but we are also trying to get more people interested in
Spec (Crappie Fishing) in the state of Florida building it to be one of most competetive
    states in Nation

You are more than welcome to join in on the festivities. I will be posting a list of items that will be needed and you can sign up for something.
The fish pots are for those who want to fish competitively, and those are welcome also.

Im with slabkeeper, i dont know anything about the area so i was kinda hoping to meet up with everyone at a ramp and find out a little info about if the lake is safe to run, sandbars, hidden stumps, etc. I didnt know everyone was gonna be scattered out at a bunch of diff ramps.
