Question on ALL launching from Hickory Point??
To keep everyone honest on empty livewells??:rolleyes::rolleyes:, Some may want to fish Beauclare, Lake Dora, Lake Carlton, they are about a 45 min. boat ride from Hickory Point, that means that those that want to fish those lakes are in for about 1 1/2 hours of boat ride and no fishing. If you have not fished these lakes, you have to be aware of the NO-WAKE ZONES in the DEAD RIVER and DORA CANAL.
Lets hear your comments, then we can start to formalize the gathering of the table fare and equipment needed for the food and fellowship portion of this event.

I never met anyone on CDC that I didn't trust. It's the bigger payouts that bring out the worst in people. I prefer to fish Beauclair and Carleton and meet up at HP around 1:30 or so. But, with that being said, I'm more than ok with fishing Harris as well if we all launch from HP.

Which ever lake has the least amount of jet skiers and recreational boaterson it is the one i want to fish. If there is such a thing:rolleyes: What ever you guys come up with we will be there:D

If you just fish for fun and not compete but contribute it does not matter right? If so my girl and I will probably launch at buzzard and come through dead river. It beats the drive all the way from grand island to hickory. Plus I can meet up with shu in the 17 feet hole. Does not matter really though. Will be nice to put some faces to names and have fun.
Take your trash out with you. Respect the resources. Take a kid fishing. Have patience at the boat ramp.
