Thread: Dead river

Well that was short lived. Got blown out to lake harris!

At a meeting tonight a guy said they must be biting in Dead River the boats are stacked in there.--shu

caught 4 bluegill and 1 crappie and lost a few more one minnows.boat traffic all afternoon

there is some huge bass tourney going on and there has to be over 100 bass boats fishing, on the Harris chain, Had to go could not take it anymore. wind was blowing, but the fish were biting, out for 45 minutes and bagged 2, 10"and 12" crappie. no eggs and spotted lots of fry in the pads. I think it's over (spawn).

There was 4 at the bridge in the hole when we came in and 1 left on our way out. Did not catch anything. I got in the way of tha bass teams as I was launching, they were leaving. They were kinda pissy but oh well we all were fishing I said.
