    Water temp 60 degrees, depth 4' at edge of grass and pads, largest ones caught on jig tipped with medium minnow, had to be nearly on bottom.--shu

    Shu, I just took the boat for a ride and in Eustis, water temp 57-60. Looking to go out and try a few spots in the next day or so. Chuck, get your poles ready.
    A gun in hand is a lot better than a cop on the phone.

    Practice makes perfect, got 15 slabs tonight, ran out of minnows and came home to beer-batter some from last night.--shu
