    Default St John’s Astor area

Need a little info from you CDC members in the Astor Florida area. There is 5 of us coming down the end of Jan to fish for a week on the river. I have a couple questions:

I keep seeing that the rains are causing flooding. How bad is it? I remember last year, it got bad and fishing was not as good.

Is anyone catching fish (crappie/specks) of any size?

    What’s the water temps?

    Thanks in advance!

I’m down by Monroe and they’re still doing well to my knowledge. I’ve been fishing the salt for a few weeks so I have nothing firsthand but I talk with friends that fish every week. Longline trolling is what they’re doing with just jigs. Some stripers in the mix too.
