    Lake Monroe park
    DeBarry, Fl



    The morning started out hot and went up from there, by 10:30 it was 94 NO WIND,
    clear blue skies, repeat no wind. Water temp. 94 degree, air temp 95. Heat index 107.

    Fifteen (15) die heart Florida Crappie tournament teams took to the water.


    Two (2) positions paid for (Big Fish)

    1st: John Peyton / Mike Herbst
    1 lb. 8.0 oz

    2nd: Darryl & Terri Cole
    1 lb 6.5 oz


    Three (3) positions paid for ( 7 fish catch weight)

    1st: Darryl & Terri Cole
    8 lbs 10 oz

    2nd: John Peyton / MIke Herbst
    8 lbs 7.0 oz

    3rd: George Parker /Tim Eberly
    8 lbs 5.3 oz


    Cole team long-lined lake 4 - 6 ft

    Peyton team modified spider rig, 3/4 oz wgt - 2 plus mph, 5 ft water

    Parker team long-lined, 6 ft water

    Was unable to attend, but it was a pressure cooker out there is no wind.

    Would be interested in what baits they were using if possible? I have tried spider rigging at a faster pace, but with no luck.
