    Unfortunately you are right. I have known of two people that have had boats stolen. They were later recovered totally stripped down.

    This is absolutely terrible. Sorry to hear this Marv. I hope you recover your boat intact and the thieves are locked up in Polk County.

Size:  50.5 KB she's stripped down pretty bare..Thief advertised on Craigslist the the terrova trolling motor. Requested a picture and there was enough to see it was sitting on the deck of my boat..partial picture of his house also..Police was able to find it. just a couple miles from me on the east side of town..investigation still pending..thief allowed to go free..go figure.

    Glad you found it. Sorry for its current state. Hope your prosecutor will get justice for you. Bet it wasn't the first boat he stole.

    Good detective work on your part Marvin,

    Can't understand why police have not made arrest yet...
    Its your boat stolen at the mans house - motor stripped, all electronics stripped & trolling motor gone
    Only trailer and bare shell left.........

    I think i would also call progressive and tell them about it..
    Let insurance company take over and prosecute

    Thx, he had two stolen boats. One belonged to the police Sgt's son.

    I didn't know it worked that way.. I've called the insurance company and they are coming by to get it. I will be staying in close contact to see what happens..
