    Default Lake Tarpon results, Saturday 11-21-15


    Saturday, November 21st, 2016

    Last scheduled tourament 2015

    Lake Tarpon
    Anderson Park public ramp
    Tapron Springs, Fl.

    Due to heavy overcast skies, rain in distance, turnout was light.
    7am- temp 71.1, water temp 74.8,
    heavy overcast, misty rain, fog......
    Barametric press 29.96, rising to a high
    30.00 by 10am. Thunder in distance
    from 7:30 am - 12:15pm, than some
    lightning appeared and rain started to
    fall -not heavy, just somewhat consistant. Bite was good most of morning till 10 am, than dropped fast.

    Five (5) teams competed in final
    tournament.

    One (1) position paid for "big fish"

    1st: Dave Troester
    1 lb 7.7 oz

    One (1) position paid for "7 fish
    catch weight"

    1st: Dave Troester
    8 lbs .05 oz

    Troester team used Wally Marshall rods,
    home made Dave's ice & mylar jigs.
    Minnow tipped. Hot pink, yellow & lime green being top colors
    Working water 8 - 10' deep, bobber
    fishing 1 - 1/2' deep.

    This event closes 2015 schedule for
    FCC - next event will be the
    Florida Crappie Club Classic
    December 12, 2015

    Presently there are 35 teams qualifyed

    Wanted to come out. But went to panhandle for thanksgiving to spend it with family. Only got a couple days of duck hunting. Too nasty for fishing as they got flooded the week before.
