Day opened 73 air temp, water temp 82.6,
partly cloudy skies, by 9am water temp 85.3
air temp 88.2 - very few clouds in sky.
Barametric pressure 29:92 @ 7am starting to rise but stopped at 8:15 and started downward - skies remained cloudless, no signs of rain till around 3:30pm.......
Bite was reasonable till 9:15am - than
became very slow. No fish of quality being taken most of the day. ( 4.5 - 6")
being prediment size caught.
Seven (7) teams took to water to find
ole Mr. Crappie.
One (1) position paid for "Big Fish"

Cole team fished with Wally Marshall rods,
spider rigging 6 -7ft water with Skipper
Moon (ice jigs) & Mylar Jigs. Hot pink -
Blue-white strip. Mylar - hot pink, orange
purple & blue. All minnow tipped

Skipper's moon jigs (ice jigs) hot pink,
orange, blue, purple and mylar jigs of
hot pink - orange/chart. all minnow tipped in 6 - 8ft water.
This was third year in row with fish
quality on downward turn - possible lake
is moving into a turn over of sorts.
Plenty of bait fish schools spotted, many
fish caught in 4 - 7 inch size. All fish
appeared to be quite healthy, no signs
of stress or lack of food avail.

2015 7 fish catch 6lbs 8.0 oz
Next tournament will be Lake Lochloosa,
Hawthorne, Florida (off hwy 301 north
of Ocala)
