    Saturday, May 9th, 2015


    Lake Lochloosa
    Public Ramp
    Lochloosa, Fl

    Saturday opened, very little wind,
    clear skies. 7am - water temp 75.4,
    by 11:30 -83.4 temp. Wind came out
    of Noth 4-6 mph most of the day.
    heat temp 76 @ 7am - 91 by 1pm - all
    scorching sun. (Thurs-Fri practice day,
    wind varied from 7.4 mph - 10 mph gusting between 16.1 - 20.7 mph out of n & nw.)
    Bara pressure helped on Sat. being low 30:03 @ 7am - 30:06 by 11.
    than another fall to 30:00 by 3pm

    This was first time FCC had been on Lochloosa this time of year.
    Twenty (23) teams went out (practice
    weights had been running around 5 - 6 lbs in windy prefish conditions.

    Two(2) positions paid for "Big Fish"

    1st: Randy Temples
    1 lb 15.8 oz

    2nd: Al & Alan jr Green
    1 lbs 15.7 oz

    10th of oz difference - caught in
    separte parts of lake.


    Four (4) positions paid for "7 fish total
    catch weight"

    1st: Randy Temples
    10 lbs. 06.4 oz

    2nd: Al & Alan Green
    10 lbs. 05.0 oz.

    3rd: Darryl & Terri Cole
    9 lbs 15.2 oz

    4th: Don Collins / Rusty Booth
    9 lbs 10.6 oz

    Team Temple: Rods unkn, fishing with
    Jiffy Jigs: Orange/wild cat - Chart. pumpkin - orange-drk orange. 10 -11ft
    water, spider rigging, minnow tipped

    Tean Green: Southern rods, spider rigging
    Rons zip jigs: orange head, blk collar,
    orange mylar tail. Also working slider,
    sour grape, minnow tipped. Working 10-
    12 ft water

    Team Cole: Wally Marshall rods, Skippers
    & Ron zip jigs, spider rigging, minnow tipped. Orange /black combinations,
    orange head/black collar, Orange mylar
    tail. Working 7 - 8.5 ft water

    Team Collins: Wally Marshall rods,
    spider rigging, double jigged, minnow tipped. open hook top, Lake Fork 8th oz
    lower jigs - orange/black, working 7 -8ft
    water

    Amazing after 3 days of high winds, water
    stirred up to looking like bad chocolate
    syrup - catch rate jumped from 6 lbs to
    over 10 lbs.
