7am Saturday morning, St John River,
clear skies, wind calm, water temp 73.4
Twenty-three (23) teams took to the
water. High pressure had set in and on
on rise from 30:21 @ 7a - 30:25 by noon.
Two (2) positions paid "Big Fish"
1st: Don Collins / Rusty Booth

1 lb 15.4 oz
Four (4) positions paid for "7 fish catch weight"

4th: Harold & Sylvester Smith

1st place Collins team fished Woodruff,
using Wally Marshal rods, double spider
rigs, 1/8 - 32nd oz Road runner jigs,
with Lake Fork jigs, minnow tipped using
Fizards attractant in 4ft water.
2nd place Parker team, single pole jigged
Lake George jetties, using Wally Marshall
rods, Southern Pro crappie stingers.
3rd place Fee team using BnM rods,
bobber fished Lake George in the Dollar
pads
4th place Smith team using Wally Marshall
rods, spider rigged 6-7ft water on Dexter,
using multi collored Ron's & Skippers Jigs.
Pink Butterscotch & Blue being go to
colors.
Attached pictures for 1st &2nd big fish
plus 1st - 2nd & 4th place finishers.
Fee team left before pictures.
Next tournament will be April 26th,
Walk-in-Water, east of Lake Wales, south
off hwy 60 on Walk-in-Water road.
